What are the most pressing legal obstacles and opportunities to advancing the conservation and sustainable use of global, regional, transboundary and national natural resources of common concern? How can international law better serve as a critical catalyst for the design, adoption, and implementation of coherent, effective and cooperative regimes for the sustainable management of natural resources? What can be learned from national policy and legislative experiences for enhancing sustainable natural resources management? How to incentivize legal and institutional reform for the progressive development of international law on the sustainable management of natural resources, especially in the context of the pandemic recovery?

How can resolution of disputes in relation to use of natural resources help promoting the principle of sustainable use of natural resources? How to align pandemic recovery measures with efforts to promote better sustainable natural resources governance in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals?
