About the Event

Please join artists, curators, musicians, composers, live-coders, computer engineers, and an international lawyer for a virtual panel discussion on Arts and Human Rights: Conversing Multiplicities on December 8th at 12:30 PM EST.

When the world is upside down and everything is in crisis, what’s there to do but build community and identity by making art and conversation about our fears, passions, and dreams. Ramon Blanco-Barrera, Grazia Peduzzi, Ann Wettrich, Eldad Tsabary, Kofi Oduro, Philon Nguyen, Jay Juanita Marchand, Stanley Février, and Oonagh Fitzgerald will discuss interdisciplinary practices of making art, performing, and working on local and global human rights issues.

Registration is free here : https://www.uottawa.ca/research-innovation/hrrec/events/arts-human-rights-conversing-multiplicities

The Human Rights Research and Education Centre (HRREC) is pleased to present this webinar as part of the John Humphrey Centre’s 2023 Ignite Change Campaign
