Title: International Law and (the Critique of) Political Economy

Guest Speaker: Ntina Tzouvala

Bio: Ntina Tzouvala is an Associate Professor at the ANU College of Law. Her work focuses on the history, theory and political economy of international law. Her first monograph, Capitalism as Civilisation: a History of International Law, was published by Cambridge University Press in 2020. The book won an Honourable Mention for the 2021 Sussex International Theory Prize and was shortlisted for the 2021 Deutscher Memorial Prize. She is currently working on two separate projects of international (economic) law and racial capitalism.
