Professor Payam Akhavan is appointed as ICC Prosecutor Khan's Special Adviser on Genocide

The Prosecutor of the ICC, Mr Karim A.A. Khan QC announced the appointment of 17 eminent experts to serve as his Special Advisers pursuant to article 42.9 of the Rome Statute. Professor Payam Akhavan, ILA Canada board member, is appointed as Special Adviser on Genocide.

The Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, Mr Karim A.A. Khan QC is pleased to announce the appointment of 17 eminent experts to serve as his Special Advisers pursuant to article 42.9 of the Rome Statute. Professor Payam Akhavan, ILA Canada board member, is appointed as Special Adviser on Genocide.
