The International Law Association of Canada is pleased to present this recording of International Law Practice: Armchair Interview with the Honourable Louise Arbour, C.C., G.O.Q., a wide-ranging conversation about her extraordinary career and contributions to international law, recorded on the 24th of April, 2025.


The Honourable Louise Arbour is a Senior Counsel at Borden Ladner Gervais, and previously served as UN Special Representative of the Secretary-General on International Migration, High Commissioner for Human Rights, Chief Prosecutor for the International Criminal Tribunals for the former Yugoslavia and for Rwanda, and a Justice of the Supreme Court of Canada, of the Court of Appeal for Ontario and the Supreme Court of Ontario.
